Nation of Makers is a national nonprofit supporting America’s maker organizations through community building, resource sharing, and advocacy, within the maker movement and beyond. Their member organizations have local and national impacts in communities around the world.
And the Nation of Makers Conference (NOMCON), held each June, is the annual national conference that brings together leaders from maker organizations. I was lucky enough to work as their conference brand manager in 20and have continued to do other poster and community projects that supports access and equity in maker and hackerspaces across the US.
DESIGN DELIVERABLES
Identity Creation
Each NOMCON is branded to it’s location. In 2018, it was held in Sante Fe. Working with the NOMCON board, I took the existing branding of the organization and expanded it to fully reflect the organization and the location
Directional Signage
Conventions are hyper reliant on information communication and signage. I designed everything from the event program to directional signage, name tags to stage background.
Social Media
To help drive ticket sales, I created a social media suite that featured each of the scheduled speakers, information about the venue and reservations, all the way down to a 10 day countdown.
