PhotoVoice: Research in Liberatory Education, Photographic Expression, and Beyond

Photovoice is a book I found while I was during my Masters program. It outlined a really amazing form of participatory action research — way of building /documenting programming where students or participants are invited to document aspects of their lives through photography and then provide written or oral accounts of the images they create.

After finishing the book I was inspired to create a motion graphics animation to both reflect on the topics covered, but also educate others on the resource.
